Therapy for Anxiety

You notice the need to please everyone because you are afraid of what can happen if you cause someone anything less than happiness or gratitude. And when you do ask for what you want, you worry what the other person will think of you.

When Anxiety becomes overwhelming

You notice the need to escape your situation. You notice the irritability that seems to build out of everyday life stressors that leads you to yell out in frustration.

You’ve heard of selfcare and boundaries and mindfulness. You even started using some of these but it doesn’t seem like enough. You wish you could put yourself first but that feels selfish and scary.

What will therapy be like?

In our sessions we will work together to understand where these habits come from and why they have been so hard to break.

You can reflect on your past and present relationships and how they influence who you are today.

We can talk about your experience in the comfort of a nonjudgmental space so that you can express how you really feel about what has happened and why it makes you feel so worried at times.
